Sorted out the cooling system on the rod tonight.......she's all buttoned up & ready to go, roll on the hayride!!!!

After stripping out the cooling system on the rod.......this is all that's left.

Got a wee problem with the cooling system on the rod......It gets too friggin hot. At first i thought it might be a pump issue...but that checked out ok, then i thought it was an air lock....nope refilled & bled the system. So i'm re-plumbing the system. The v6 had no thermostat fitted which was ok as it just took ages to warm up, but my motor is running a weber auto choke so the choke stays on waaaay too long before getting up to temp. Need to buy some rad hose to finish the job, so first thing monday someone better have some 35mm hose in stock or im gunna flip out !!!!!  the hayride is getting close...Don't ya just love hotrods.

Drove the rod for the first time since having it's engine transplant.....feck me, what a difference!!!!!!!

It's absolutley nuts!!  The exhausts sound great,  not too loud...but just the right level of noise to scare the crap outta anyone that's in front of you.

will post up some vids soon, but here's a little clip taken on a camera phone last night..
